These Air Fryer Salmon Patties are crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor! Made with fresh or canned salmon, they’re a quick, healthy, and delicious meal for lunch or dinner. The air fryer makes them golden and crunchy without deep frying. Perfect for a light yet satisfying dish. Serve them with a creamy dipping sauce or in a burger for a tasty twist!
Ingredients
1 (14 oz) can salmon, drained
1 large egg
1/4 cup almond flour
2 tbsp mayo
1 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp chopped green onions
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Use a fork to break up the salmon and stir everything until well combined but not overmixed. The mixture should hold together when pressed.
With clean hands or a scoop, form the mixture into 6–8 evenly sized patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking. Arrange patties in a single layer with a little space between each one.
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the patties are golden brown and cooked through.
Let cool slightly on a wire rack or plate before serving. They’ll firm up as they rest.
Notes
✔ Use fresh salmon for a more delicate texture. If using canned, drain it well to avoid excess moisture.
✔ Want extra crispiness? Lightly spray the patties with oil before air frying.
✔ Make them ahead! Store uncooked patties in the fridge for up to 24 hours or freeze for later.
✔ Gluten-free? Use almond flour or crushed gluten-free crackers instead of breadcrumbs.
✔ Storage & Reheating: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 3-4 minutes.
